Newborn Love

I did my first newborn shoot at the end of June for someone who has been very special to me since she was a mere 17 years old. She’s now an “old” married lady of almost 30 who just welcomed her second child.

I hope these images were able to capture the wonder and preciousness that is the newborn.

Is there anything better than a newborn?

Welcome to my new photography site, the home of my business, Eclectic Journey Photography!

I’m getting a little tingly just typing those words. I never imagined that back in March of 2009 when I started my photography education and took my camera off auto that by July, 2010 I would have immersed myself so completely as to begin this boutique-y hobby business. But I fell in love and we all know how powerful the combination of love and a Type A personality can be.

I’m now entering the phase of portfolio building: working with clients, building my portfolio (duh!), streamlining my workflow (memo to self: spending 2 straight weekends making 1 album is too long!), and enjoying every minute of this new adventure. So stick around, bookmark the site and visit often. I’ll be posting photos from recent shoots for your fun and enjoyment.
